Irrigation Service Technician:
Qualifications
- Good driving record.
- Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Dependability.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve well.
- Pride in work and clean up.
Postion Summary
- Responsible for learning and complying with all safety and health rules and regulations applicable to their work (see Safety and Health Manual).
- Performs maintenance on irrigation systems as scheduled by service scheduler or requested by customer. This will include, but not limited to: programming/replacing timers; repairing broken lines and wires; electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair; replacing broken heads.
- Performs Spring Start-up of systems per guidelines provided. This involves re-activation of system; full inspection; plus any repairs and/or replacements needed or requested by customer.
- Performs Mid-season checks of systems per guidelines provided. This includes full inspections plus any repairs and/or replacements needed.
- Performs Winterization of systems at the end of the season per guidelines provided.
- Performs jobs as assigned by service manager.
- Assists Installation Division as needed and approved by service manager.
- Communicates with customer regarding any repairs performed and addresses any questions and/or concerns the customer has about the system.
- Presents the customer with a quote for repairs.
- Provides the customer with information that could benefit them, including product information, plus sales and services offered by the company.
- Collects payment for services while on site by cash, credit card or check.
- Punches in/out of field software daily in accordance to handbook guidelines
- Uses field software to complete work orders as required by the Service Manager, syncing into software program at least twice a day.
- Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of the company vehicle and equipment assigned to him/her per handbook guidelines provided.
- Presents any issues or concerns regarding his/her work during weekly progress meeting with the service manager.
Installation Crew Foreman:
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Irrigation installation with at least 3 years of running an irrigation crew.
- Good Driving Record
- Great Communication Skills
- Good coach and mentor
- Experience with leading a crew
- Pride in work, and clean up
Position Summary
- Direct activities on the job site or job-sites
- Supervises and manages irrigation crew. This includes training and promoting the development of subordinates and coworkers in the best practices of sprinkler installation.
- Installation of all irrigation system components
- Responsible for crew’s job completion, quality control and safety
- Ability to communicate with clients, supervisor, and coworkers.
General Irrigation Installer
Qualifications
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to work well with little supervision.
- Ability to work well and communicate with a team.
- Good attendance record
- Reliable transportation to work.
